Q: Is "Canadian Journal on Electrical and Electronics Engineering" a reputable journal?
Is "Canadian Journal on Electrical and Electronics Engineering" reputable? Is it safe to publish in it?
A reputable journal should have a professional website mentioning details about the peer review process, the editorial board members, as well as information about the journal's impact factor, and the academic societies or organizations that it is associated with.
I looked up the Canadian Journal on Electrical and Electronics Engineering online, but I could not find a proper website for the journal. It just has a Facebook page mentioning that it is an open access e-journal and offers speedy publication (expectedly within a month). There is no information about the journal's Editorial Board. Additionally, the journal is indexed neither in the Thomson Reuters list of journals, nor in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). However, I found quite a few articles on Google Scholar that seem to be published in the journal.
On the whole, since I could not find any clear evidence of the reliability of the journal, I would not recommend you to submit your paper to this journal. You can also ask experts from your field, such as your supervisor or senior colleagues and seek their advice.
