Q: What does "With Editor" mean after two rounds of revision?

I understand that you twice revised and resubmitted your paper twice. It is not uncommon for reviewers to have differing opinions and it is up to the Editor to make a final decision on your manuscript based on the reviewers’ opinions and the revisions you have made. In any case, the current status “With Editor” means that the editor is taking another look at your paper. Based on the nature and extent of revisions, he/she might consider sending it out for another round of review or go through it himself/herself and make a final decision. The next status should make things clearer. If the status changes to “Under review,” it means that your paper has been sent to a reviewer again. On the other hand, if the status changes to “Decision in process,” it implies that the Editor is making the decision on your paper.
