Q: What is ‘Revision Notes’ in the resubmission process of a revised paper?

Detailed Question -

I've submitted my paper to a journal. After a review, it has received a major revision, so I revised and resubmitted the paper. Then, I received a request for further revisions from one reviewer (minor revision), and the reviewer asked to use the 'Revision Notes' when uploading the revised paper. What are 'Revision Notes'? How should I respond?

Answer:

Thank you for your query! Revision Notes comprises of the changes incorporated in response to the comments provided by the reviewer. It clearly outlines the reviewer’s responses and includes page and line numbers where the relevant revision is incorporated.

Hope that helps. All the best for your submission!
