Q: Can I submit a research paper to more than one journal to get it published?
You cannot submit your research paper to more than one journal at the same time as it is unethical and would be regarded as duplicate submission. However, to save time, you can send pre-submission inquiries to multiple journals.
In the pre-submission inquiry, you can share a brief summary of your work, explain why your work would be interesting for the journal’s target audience, and ask if the journal would be interested in publishing your paper. However, please do not attach your manuscript or include any part of it in this letter.
You can send a pre-submission inquiry to several journals at the same time and submit your paper to the one that shows interest in your work.
