Q: I submitted a paper to a Springer journal, 2 days after, the status changed to 'editor invited' after 42 days the status has changed to 'reviews completed', what is the meaning of that?

I have not worked with Springer journals, yet it seems clear that the reviewers have submitted their scores and comments, and now it is the associate editor's turn to make a recommendation regarding your paper. At this point, you may recieve the EIC's decision in a few days.
