Q: What is the meaning of "Article received " for a Wiley journal?
Detailed Question -
I uploaded my research article last week. and till date the status is "Article received." What does it mean?
1 Answer to this question
Answer:
The status "Article received" is an acknowledgement of your submission. The status indicates that the manuscript has been successfully submitted and is now under consideration by the journal. After this, the manuscript usually goes through an admin check by the journal staff to ensure that the basic requirements, such as length, formatting, etc. are in place. Once this is done, it is assigned to an editor.
