Q: The due date for my revised submission has changed. Which date should I consider?

Detailed Question -

I have clicked on "Agree to review" based on your reply, and then the page went to the page to submit revised manuscript. However, I have not finished revision, so I closed it. Then the status changed to "Submit Revision", and there is a "resume" button on left bottom of the page. But the "Revision Due Date" has changed: it got pushed around 10 days and is 26^th Feb now. Is it normal? I should submit before Feb 26^th instead of Feb18^th, right? Thank you.

In your previous question, you had mentioned that you will need around 2 months to complete the revisions. So the change in due date actually works in your favor. I think you can safely consider Feb 26 as the new deadline for the revised submission. However, just to be on the safe side, it might be a good idea to write to the journal and confirm this, as the change in the due date seems to be automated.
