Following her education in STEM, she went on to spearhead unique projects and communities that enable students to develop the skills and knowledge they need to fulfil their aspirations. Based on her own struggles and experiences as a woman of color in STEM, Lorena will talk to you about what some of these internal and external barriers are and how you can overcome them with full confidence in your ability and strengths. She will also talk about how you can use collaboration as an effective technique to succeed.
